Panchachuli Base Camp Trek comes in Eastern Kumaon Garhwal region of Uttarakhand Himalayas and it’s height is 4,260 meters. If we look at the history of Panchachuli so, it is said that the Panchachuli Peaks are a group of five Himalayan peaks which are situated at Kumaon Garhwal in the Himalayas.
Panchachuli Base Camp Trek is a moderate Trek from Dharchula Base Camp. Dar road head is a starting point of Panchachuli Base Camp Trek or Expedition and at the end of East Kumaon region is located near Darma Valley. The height of these peaks ranges from 6,334 meters to 6,904 meters. The first ascent of Panchachuli Peak 01 (I.T.B.P) team was made in 1972, via Uttam Balati Glacier, under the leadership of Mr. Hukam Singh. He is local from here and is also a very good mountaineer, which is a history of its own; these Panchachuli Peaks also form a watershed between the wonderful uncanny valleys like Sundar Gori and Darmaganga here.

The Panchachuli Base Camp Trek takes you to the mesmerizing Panchachuli Base Camp at an elevation of 4260 mts with the five peaks of Panchachuli soaring grandiosely in the background.
Arrive at Kathgodam in the morning to start off with a long drive to Dharchula. It will take the whole day to reach the point. But the scenic drive will not let you get bored because the complete route is filled with picturesque views. You will cross Pithoragarh and witness the continuous change in serenity while you pass through the towns of Bhimtal, Almora, Dhaulchina, Sera- gat, Chaukhori, Thal and Ashkot. Watch the lofty Himalayan ranges and the gorges below, native villages and the sheer beauty of the forests till you reach Dharchula. Dharchula is between India and Nepal with Kali River as one important river and it is a picturesque isolated remote valley village amidst the snow-capped peaks. It served as an ancient trading route between India and Nepal. Stay overnight in a homestay in Dharchula.
After breakfast, we will start off with a 3-4-hour scenic road journey to Duktu village of Darma valley. (70km drive.) Trek to Panchachuli base camp is 2.5 km. After relaxing relax and unwind.
After breakfast, start your journey early today to the Zero point of Panchachuli Glacier to get the mesmerizing view of the Panchachuli peaks. It is an easy trek and you would take around 2-2½ hrs to reach the Zero Point of Panchachuli Glacier. The Bugyal stretches far and wide and the forests of birch and conifer create a picturesque ambience throughout the route. Enjoy the fragrance spread by the wildflowers and get glimpses of wild strawberries on the narrow path which has steep climbs and descends till PCBC. Then it will be a continuous line of visuals including the towering hills above and endless stretches of glaciers. The complete trail will show you endless meadows and the tall oak and birch trees with the Panchachuli (6904 mt. /22652 ft.) towering in the background. Lunch at base camp. After breakfast, we will move towards Dharchula. Reach Dharchula early and visit Darchula market which is in Nepal. To reach Darchula market (Nepal) you will have to cross the bridge near the police station which acts as a border for India and Nepal. Night stay in Hotel/Guest-house.
Early morning after breakfast, we will move towards Kathgodam and will reach in the evening around 6-7 pm
